  Open CanScan, point your camera at the barcode, and wait for the product details to appear.
• 2. Where does the product data come from?
  We use the OpenFoodFacts database to provide up-to-date product information.
• 3. What allergens does CanScan detect?
  We scan for major allergens, including gluten, milk, soybeans, eggs, nuts, fish, mustard, sesame seeds, crustaceans, sulphur dioxide, celery, molluscs, lupin, and peanuts.
• 4. What if a product is missing or incorrect?

• 5. Does CanScan work offline?
  No, an internet connection is required to fetch the latest product data.

Privacy Policy

CanScan does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app processes barcode scans locally on your device to display product information, and no data is sent to our servers.

We use the OpenFoodFacts API to fetch product details, but no user data is collected or stored. You can read OpenFoodFacts' Privacy Policy here.

CanScan does not use advertisements, tracking, or analytics tools.
